While for some the Festival may now feel like a distant memory, for others preparations for next year’s event are already underway. 1. Emergency Adjudication Panel Each February, a qualified Adjudicator is appointed to judge our Festival. Alongside this, we also establish an Emergency Adjudication Panel to ensure continuity should any unforeseen circumstances arise. Traditionally, this panel has consisted of three experienced SCDA members, either individuals or representatives from member groups. In recent years, we have relied on the same individuals; however, we are now seeking to broaden participation and invite expressions of interest from across our membership.
