Returning once again to this small compact theatre the Youth festival was somewhat of a strange event this year taking place the Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of March days before Lockdown struck and it would be many months before we could be together again but even at this point the precursor of what was to come had struck with only a day before the event Aberdour Players having to withdraw due to cast members being in self isolation, words we would all come to know over the coming months. On a brighter note the Muriel Ovens Quaich, named for Muriel Ovens a long time stalwart of the Borders District SCDA, A former borders trophy this has now been brought back to be awarded to the runner-up in the Divisional youth final.
